"can't you see she's smitten for you" im in the mood to make things a bit darker.. as i did with this piece.. deff a self portrait of me this time.. both in the physical aspects as well as the mental

Yay! i did it on time!
its a mix of watercolors and acrylics... i think it came out well!

the first installment... i plan on doing either a nice acrylic or watercolor painting.. this is just a quick sketch.. so i can be up for the week... hopefully the other will be done before next weeks.. i plan on it being a bit of a dark smitten.. oh! and the caption which ties it into smitten is: Can't you see she's smitten for you?

1: bottles into ribbons with graphite and colored pencils
2: textural transformation of a hand to a sheep
3: graphite self-portrait of when i had hair, with colored pencil accents

1, 2 & 3: linoleum block prints, and 2 close-ups
4: a charcoal backwash, then graphite and charcoal on top, then watercolor for accents, surrealism

1&2: two different studies of the same landscape.. the first became too muddy, and I'm not overjoyed with the second
3: a quick play with wet into wet
4: trying to add color into a small quick watercolor landscape

1& 2: two different photos of the same acrylic landscape

3: an acrylic monochromatic portrait of my friend

4: for this we had to find a small 1 x 1.5 in rectangle in a magazine then paint it in acrylics on a 20x30 in piece of posterboard
